The Director of Annual Fund will work closely with the President
to create, manage, and execute Dean College's Annual Fund. The
position will report to the College's President.
- Annual Fund Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive
annual fund strategy that aligns with the overall fundraising goals
and objectives of Dean College. This includes setting annual giving
goals, creating targeted solicitation strategies, and implementing
stewardship and recognition programs.
- Donor Cultivation and Engagement: Identify, cultivate, and
steward a portfolio of annual fund donors, including alums,
parents, faculty, and friends of the College. Build and maintain
strong relationships with donors through personalized
communication, meetings, events, and other engagement
- Direct Mail and Digital Fundraising Campaigns: Oversee the
planning, execution, and evaluation of direct mail and digital
fundraising campaigns, including personalized appeals, crowdfunding
initiatives, giving days, and online giving platforms. Collaborate
with marketing and communications staff to develop compelling
fundraising materials and content.
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of
annual fund volunteers, including alumni ambassadors and parent
ambassadors. Provide support and guidance to volunteers in their
fundraising efforts and ensure they are equipped with the necessary
resources to be effective advocates for Dean College.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize software and tools to
track and analyze donor data and gift history.
