The Reformed Church in America seeks a highly accomplished and experienced Chief Advancement and Communications Officer to lead all advancement and communication activities of the denomination. The Chief Advancement and Communications Officer (CACO) is responsible for the conception, development, oversight, execution, and evaluation of a comprehensive advancement and communications program designed to meet the evolving financial and communication needs of the Reformed Church in America (RCA). This encompasses both fundraising from all individuals and constituents of the RCA and its departments, including General Synod Council, Global Mission, and the cultivation of congregational support for the RCA’s mission.

The CACO will nurture and grow a community of donors who are committed to supporting the mission of the RCA and creates opportunities to advance the message of the RCA to individual donors, groups of donors, and RCA congregations. The CACO is relentless in her or his efforts to advance, market, and promote the work of the church, and is pivotal in tying together various RCA ministries into one comprehensive and communicable message.

The successful candidate is passionate about partnering the RCA General Secretary and the Strategic Leadership Team and collaborating with all staff to grow a culture of philanthropy and communications at the Reformed Church in America.
