Assistant Vice President for Strategic Partnerships - Corporate
& Foundation Engagement
Bryant Group is partnering with the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) to seek an experienced professional to join as the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Partnerships - Corporate & Foundation Engagement (AVP). This position will play a pivotal role in advancing philanthropy for UTA from corporate and foundation partners.
The Assistant VP will will play a pivotal role as a key collaborator, work closely with campus leadership including the President and Provost as well as divisional vice presidents, the Athletic Director, deans and academic leadership to help coordinate campus wide multilevel strategies for a portfolio of top institutional industry partners and foundation funders.
This program aims to cultivate relationships with top current and aspirational campuswide industry partners and foundation funders to increase philanthropy, internships, sponsored research support and partnerships, university wide sponsorships and engagement to advance University priorities. Through their expertise and dedication as the Assistant Vice President for Strategic Partnerships - Corporate & Foundation Engagement, the successful candidate will not only contribute to UTA's mission but also have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the vast opportunities that await in the thriving state of Texas.

Essential Job Functions
- Build, manage, and oversee a comprehensive campus wide metrics-based foundation and industry relations program.
- Increase philanthropy, internships, sponsored research support and partnerships, university wide sponsorships and engagement to advance University priorities.
- Work closely with the executive and academic leadership to coordinate multilevel strategies for a portfolio of top institutional industry partners and foundation funders
- Coordinate priorities across units in alignment with UTA’s strategic plan and first comprehensive fundraising campaign.
- Serve as the primary relationship coordinator for the highest-level university industry portfolio for new relationships and existing relationships.
- Create partnership agendas and proposals for companies and foundations based on university research opportunities and academic goals.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college of university.
- Eight to thirteen years of progressively responsible corporate and foundation engagement experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Experience planning and executing metrics-based engagement programs and managing teams and staff to successful goal attainment.
- Personal success in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate contacts at high-level complex industry partners.
- Corporate engagement management/supervisory experience.
