President/Chief Executive Officer

Desert Arc is seeking a strategic and visionary President/CEO. This individual will drive the mission forward, expand impact and ensure the highest quality of services for persons who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The President/CEO will represent Desert Arc to the public, stakeholders, and partners while fostering a positive and inclusive culture within the organization.

Key responsibilities include leadership & strategy, operational management, fiscal management, social service program development & evaluation, community & public relations, and board relations.

Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a nonprofit or public organization, preferably in the IDD services sector. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, or a closely related field preferred.

The salary range is $150,000 to $265,000 based on experience.  A generous benefit package is provided.  The position is based in Palm Desert, California and reports to the Chair of the Board of Directors.
