Summary:

 

New Hampshire Public Radio is seeking a Leadership Circle Gift Officer to manage NHPR’s annual giving leadership club. The successful candidate will have a caseload of 400-600 donors who contribute $1,200+ annually in unrestricted gifts. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Development and Revenue, this newly created role is designed to support NHPR’s growing donor base. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in donor-centric fundraising and a passion for building relationships. Join us in supporting NHPR’s mission through meaningful donor engagement!

This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid-eligible role based in Concord, NH, reporting to the Sr. Director of Development and Revenue. The starting salary range for this position is $66,000 - $82,500 based on experience. We also consider internal equity, among other factors, when deciding compensation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue through donor acquisition, retention, and upgrades. 
  • Lead multi-channel appeals, including renewal, upgrades, and new member campaigns.  Monitor and report on campaign performance, including conversion and retention rates.  Create and implement a stewardship plan for Leadership Circle members, coordinating outreach through email, phone, and notes.  Plan and execute events for Leadership Circle members, including guest list creation and invitation management.  Identify and qualify donors for potential major gift opportunities.  Manage donor communications, including newsletters -- both email and print versions -- and other print/digital materials.  Ensure accurate data tracking in the donor database and timely acknowledgment of gifts.  Attend events requiring occasional evening hours and travel throughout New England.  Other duties as assigned. 

 

 

Required Experience/Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in donor relations and fundraising.  Strong communication and project management skills.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.  Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite. Raiser’s Edge experience is a plus.  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  Willingness to travel and attend events as needed.  Bachelor’s degree in related subject area. An Associate’s degree and two years of additional relevant work experience or a high school diploma or equivalency credential and four years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to transportation for required travel.
