Execute a major capital campaign and strengthen connections among a vast network of alumni,parents, and friends, supporting the expansion of one of Ohio's top independent schools.

In partnership with Lindauer, Hawken School is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to drive the institution's fundraising, donor relations, and alumni engagement efforts. The CAO will report directly to the Head of School, collaborating with the senior administrative team, Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff to build a culture of philanthropy for one of the leading institutions in independent education.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an advancement leader to work alongside the Head of School and Board of Trustees in elevating Hawken's philanthropic impact and visibility.

In this role, you will:

Lead the comprehensive advancement program, overseeing fundraising, alumni and parent relations, development communications, and stewardship.

Partner closely with the Head of School to shape and implement goals and strategies for an ambitious capital campaign.

Oversee and mentor a seven-person Advancement team while directly engaging top donors and stakeholders.

Cultivate relationships with key donors, alumni, and parents, serving as a principal advisor on development matters.

Represent Hawken in local, regional, and national advancement activities, enhancing the School's visibility and philanthropic reach.
