The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County (LCSLO) is pleased to announce a job opening for the position of Fundraising Program Manager.
LCSLO is a local non-profit land trust working to conserve and care for the diverse wildlands, farms, and ranches of the Central Coast. We connect people to the land and to each other. LCSLO strives to create a family–friendly work environment with flexible work hours, a team-oriented structure, and good benefits.
We are looking for an experienced leader and fundraising professional to recommend and implement best practices, who has a heart for conservation and an opportunistic soul to help fund it. Are you interested in protecting San Luis Obispo County, one of the rare coastal California areas with substantial open spaces still available to protect; a person who champions the air, water and earth for a healthy environment, protects wildlife habitat, and appreciates open spaces? Do you have the self-awareness to understand and appreciate the perspective of others, especially our vast community of donors? If so, read on.
The Fundraising Program Manager will report directly to the Development and Engagement Director and work closely with the Executive Director and Deputy Director. This is a full-time exempt position with a benefits package that includes health insurance, 401K plan with company match, Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, and dental and vision plans. Starting salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, DOE. We are a growing organization and career advancement is possible depending on performance. To apply, please visit our website at www.lcslo.org for full details. If you do not have access to the internet, applications may be picked up at our office. Please submit a cover letter, resume, and employment application via email, mail, fax, or in person. Incomplete application packages will not be considered. The position is open until filled. The Land Conservancy will begin reviewing applications as early as December 15, 2024, and the position will likely start in January, 2025.
