PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES  

Donor Services - dotted line to Director of Operations

  • Salesforce Support
  • Maintain accuracy of donor database by updating records on a regular basis
  • Gift Entry performing tasks including but not limited to:
    • Entering donations into the database - Salesforce
    • Running and balancing of reports
    • Creating New Accounts
    • Creating New Contacts
    • Primary Contact Lookup and Research
    • Data Hygiene
    • Donor acknowledgements and correspondence as needed 
    •  
    Assist with QGiv Campaign Forms for fundraising campaigns.  Maintain and add donor designated restrictions as necessary.

    Other operations assignments / duties as assigned

    Event support  - dotted line to the Sr. Director of Individual Giving

  • Assist with event planning and execution

  • Donor engagement and stewardship (specifically for events)

  • Invitation and RSVP management

  • Data tracking/analysis 

Job Qualifications

  • Deep commitment to serving vulnerable communities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3+ years of nonprofit development experience, preferably in the areas of international programs.
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Highly adaptable to change with a proven capacity to excel in a fast-paced and growing workplace environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with empathetic and collegial spirit and the ability to build trust-based relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to accountability and confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to listen, discern challenges and identify solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively seek support when challenges arise.
  • growth mindset with strong judgment and developed problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, openness to feedback, and a willingness to share feedback in all directions.
  • Ability to act as a representative of the organization to external vendors and contractors while fostering respectful and authentic relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across teams
  • Experience working internationally and collaborating with people in diverse cultural and political contexts preferred
  • Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality
  • Love of fundraising
